Quicky Update

Entoo and Outof are now level 15. We are doing all the quests around the Crossroads and generally enjoying ourselves.

Last night we managed to knock out 4 quests and most of a level in about 45 minutes.

Currently we are both speccing Feral, mostly because we don't need the increased heals or anything and it allows us to play dps and tank when we want. Most nights we just alternate whoever was in bear form.

If any druids happen to stumble across the blog please feel free to give us advice on a better setup if there is one.

Does It Look Like I Want Your Meat Again?

Yes, the title of this blog post is an actual quote from my wonderful wife from tonight's play session. We were trying to get claws for a quest and the only thing Outof was getting from wolves was Stringy Meat.

We made it 3/4 of the way to 11 and got our bear form quest done. I ran around in bear form trying our the new fancy tankness while Outof whacked things with her Beatstick. I am impressed with how much more of a beating I could take in bear form and found the taunt useful a few times when mobs jumped Outof.

And Two Nights Later ...

We are 1/2 way to 10 now after roughly 2 more hours of playing. Not bad for some uber casuals.

Outof has taken mining and skinning to make us some cash. I'm doing herbalism, something which I've never done past skill level 100 or so.

So far we are having a blast and hopefully we'll have some great stories for everyone soon.

Play Session Number Two

Tonight we got started shortly after 8 PM our time and played for just over an hour. We had a short interruption when the little one woke up for about 5 or 10 minutes but we were able to get back to it. At the end of this session we were one bubble short of level 7. We might have made it but we both ran out of bag space for quest items.

I'm amazed at all the little things that I remember, such as the location of quest givers, mobs and quest givers. My wife commented on how I can remember that stuff but I can't remember to take out the trash.

The highlight of the night was when we ran into Snagglespear while killing gnolls for a quest. He was level 9 and we were both level 5. I spent most of the fight casting Healing Touch on myself while Outof (the wife) played dps. I honestly thought I was dead, I was oom and had no health showing when he decided to run. We hit level 6 when he died which was an extra little bonus.

Now for some blog related news:
I'm going to try and get Outof to post her thoughts on our playtime so far just so the posts aren't just from my point of view. I've added a blog roll of all the WoW blogs that I currently read in Google Reader which hopefully will bring some link juice my way. ;)

Welcome to a new WoW blog about our time spent in Azeroth!

Who are we? We are a married couple with two young children who don't have much time to play. My wife started playing in December of 2004 before our first child was born and I've been playing since Open Beta with some time off for various reasons.

This time out we decided to create a couple of Tauren Druids and see just what kind of trouble we can manage to get ourselves into.

Today we managed to play our first session which was right at 54 minutes and we made it 7 bubbles into level 4.
